woho Brand Identity

Brand Identity | Print Design | Illustration

woho want to revolutionise the way people work from home.

Imagine if working from home wasn’t just a laptop propped up at the end of your bed or a zoom-call at the kitchen table.

Imagine a world where you could work from home in a dedicated quiet work area - sitting at a stylish desk, in an ergonomic chair, with super high speed internet. Now imagine this was all delivered in a single package by your employer when you start your new job. This is the woho working from home revolution.

The brief

Bourne and Bred were commissioned to help bring this start-up to life with a new brand identity that would work well in digital and physical formats.

The identity had to stand out in a newly-crowded marketplace, after the Covid-19 pandemic forced the majority of office workers to work from home. It needed to be clean, fresh and represent the idea that everyone is unique in their style and the way that they work.

The initial brand strategy part of this project was completed by Emma Sexton at Hands Down Agency.

The solution

We crafted an identity on the idea that people can work wherever they want - this could be their house, their garden or a beach - no two people are the same and everyone works differently.

The logo is a very simple shape - it’s meant to represent ‘a space’. People can fill that space however they wish, in any configuration they wish. So we created a shape that could be flexible and be filled with different textures, styles and graphics - meaning the identity could adapt depending on the situation or audience.

We chose an optimistic yellow as the core brand colour and then layered this with material textures (wood and marble from the desks woho supply) together with abstract shapes to create a visual depth wherever the identity was used.

Bourne and Bred's approach was refreshing and energising for us as clients. Truly both creative and professional. Thank you!
