Mark Hanton Studio branding
What we did:
Mark Hanton Studio is a Kent-based landscape architect company who work on a range of domestic and commercial projects.
Bourne and Bred were commissioned to redesign the brand identity of the studio to make it more concise, consistent, grown-up and above all, professional.
A key aspect of the brief was to ensure the brand didn't draw viewers attention away for the landscaping projects.
Working closely with Mark’s team, we researched, designed and developed an identity system that felt very grown-up but still retained a sense of individuality, setting them apart from their competitors.
The logo mark – although appearing fairly simple, is based on architectural drawings and represents the idea of shared space – something Mark was very keen to promote. While the choice a monochrome colour palette and simple typographic allows Mark’s own work to do the talking. The end result was an identity system that was flexible, current and acted as a good foundation to take the business to the next level.
